There’s a website out there that will be more than happy to let you use their vast library of professional photos absolutely free of charge, and pay you to do so.

Recently, I realized that Allposters.com has an affiliate program. They also happen to have over half a million pictures to choose from, many of which are of higher quality than the Flickr photos. The affiliate program pays 25%, which isn’t bad.

My reasoning is that I’m going to use photos anyway, so why not use ones that I can make money from? Click on the photo above, and you’ll see what I mean.

I’m going to play around with this for a while. I may go ahead and add some text that says, “Buy this print”, or something to that effect. It would probably be helpful, although not nearly as covert!

I use images a lot on my blog. I may have to look into this. Nice post, thanks for the info!

What a fresh affiliate idea. Something different to try besides all the tired old flash graphics for web hosting and text link ads.

Well that is just plain cool. You will have to let us know if anyone buys anything through your affiliate link. I would be curious how many people click on the image without being prompted only to discover they can get a poster of the picture they liked well enough to click on.

This sounds like a pretty cool deal, but I don’t use a ton of images on my site and when I do, I try to use images that I have taken…now if only I could upload my own pictures to that site and let people buy poster-sized prints of them…..

See, this is why I read your blog. I’m always learning neat stuff like this. Sneaky, but smart!

    I’m going to do this.

As long as I’m signing up I may as well use you for a referer… what is your Referrer Account Number or Website ID? I could guess at it by looking at the URL of the Bob Marley post but I’d rather make sure I have it right before I sign up… :)

I’ve done this sometimes, although I really should be more consistent. I don’t know if people are clicking the image links, though, since I generally have a text link in there as well. But it is a great source of pics.
