With trying to gather the money to close on the house this month, it has been a bit stressful financially. To add to the financial stress, this weekend we are celebrating Sage’s birthday and then the next weekend it’s Easter! Actually, I decided to keep things simple this year, and really, it won’t be stressful at all. Since Sage is getting a kitten once we move, he doesn’t care about a big party or expensive presents this year. The kitten has been the thing he has wanted all along. Thank goodness. I think.
Thankfully, our next big holiday comes after I have closed on the house and am hopefully a bit more financially stable. That one is a big one–Mother’s Day! This one is the one that if you miss, you die. Well, okay, you may not die, but you also may not be on speaking terms with your mom for a while if you blow it.
