Are you an “idea person” who has more projects planned than you’ll ever be able to do in this lifetime? I know I am. I read Chris Bloczynski’s article called Forest–Trees–Branches–Leaves and laughed. He’s talking about how to get things done. I like how “forests, trees, branches, leaves” sounds, because it is something I definitely need to remember. I am a “forest person”. I don’t like to think about branches and leaves. Branches and leaves are little bits that get in the way of my “vision” and they annoy me. Ignoring them, however, keeps a lot of projects from ever seeing the finish line.
So perhaps that’ll be my New Year’s motto: Forest, trees, branches, leaves. Catchy, isn’t it? Thanks Chris!
