Just Another Writer

I need to put my son’s pic in my MyBlogLog profile, because it may be him that’s stopping by your blog and dropping off my Entrecard. The kiddo is bored, and I could pay him a dollar an hour which would accomplish me getting advertising for the blog and him being entertained, as in “I’m earning money on the Internet!” He keeps asking me if he can make money on the computer too, and I keep telling him “No”. So, why not?

Um, seriously, it is really easy to bounce, you know? You just click to leave your card and then click to go to the advertised site, which you know has the Entrecard widget, and then you repeat the whole process. It takes about two seconds. Unless of course, the person is smart and doesn’t put the Entrecard widget at the top of their blog for evil bouncers like me to see. For example, I went to this cute kitty blog and it was not obvious. So I looked at kitty pics, which I love, until I found it.

I figure “bouncing” is not necessarily a bad thing. I’m not going to read every blog I come across. But if I visit yours every day for several days, I may eventually see something I like. And then, if you have an RSS button, I’ll subscribe. If you don’t have the button, I’ll probably never see you again. You’ll get lost in my disorganized bookmark folder and then I’ll replace my computer without exporting the bookmarks and poof! That’s it.

I like the Entrecard. MyBlogLog isn’t as fun since Yahoo took it over. I don’t know why. I guess all of the hassle of signing in and everything took some of the users away. I lost my original avatar. The whole thing was a pain. Bouncing around is better, at least for the moment. Does anyone else feel that way?
